Best and worst cars lists are subjective, which make perfect sense since they're compiled from a subjective industry. Who makes the best cars? Who makes the worst cars? Who knows? But approaching the end of the first decade of the 21st century, editors at Cars.com have decided to publish lists of the top-10 most improved and top-10 worst cars of the decade.

A
man in Colorado was so frustrated with his car breaking down, he decided
to capitalize on the "Cash For Clunkers" program. That's
nothing unusual — except his car was a Maserati. The
1985 Maserati BiTurbo has 18,480 miles on the odometer and its
interior is in pristine condition. Yet the owner said he couldn't
drive the car for more than 10 minutes without having to call his
mechanic.
