The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering 2009 will be held Friday Aug. 14 at Quail Lodge Resort & Country Club in Carmel, Calif., and will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Daytona Speedway; the 30th anniversary of BMW’s motorsports division; the racing heritage of Audi; and pay tribute to Hans Struck, Jr.

Tickets for the seventh annual event, sub-titled “Redefining Automobile Celebrations,” will be offered for $400 (a $175 increase from 2008) beginning Feb. 2 on a first-come, first-serve base. Tickets are available via telephone 877-734-4628 or via the web site: www.quaillodgetickets.com.

The Quail is a unique six-hour experience that combines landmark automobiles, catered culinary delights, an exquisite landscape of rolling greens lawns and mountain peaks in a combined atmosphere of serenity, luxury and exclusivity.

The Quail classes for 2009 will include: 50th anniversary of Daytona Speedway, 30th anniversary
of BMW Motorsports, Audi Racing Legends, Hans Struck, Jr. Tribute, The Great Ferraris, Pre-War Race Cars, Post-War Race Cars, Sport and Racing Motorcycles and Super Cars.
